CCS recognizes events including intrasquad*, dual, tri, invitational, regional championships, and national championship meets. Meets hosted by non-CCS teams may also be recognized. CCS teams in attendance of a meet hosted by a non-CCS team, including NCAA varsity teams, USMS teams, or local event directors, must act as the host by:

  1. Submitting the event to the calendar for approval.
  2. Obtaining the meet results file.
  3. Editing/adding the CCS swimmer ID to the results file.
  4. Submitting the results file to CCS within seven (7) days of the conclusion of the meet to CCS.
Common Mistakes When Submitting an Event
  1. The event order must match exactly to HyTek or the meet software.
  2. The course must be short course yards.
  3. The number of events entered must equal the number of events created.
Common Mistakes When Submitting Results
  1. No swimmer IDs entered. The CCS ID (5 character numeric format) must be entered in the meet entry file and included in the export.
  2. Ensure names are correctly spelled or preferred names are entered in a swimmers CCS profile. I.e. Johnathon vs John.
  3. Export a meet database backup, not just the results file.
  4. If any event order was changed in HyTek, it must be updated to match exactly in your CCS president account.
